Over the course of thousands of years of history, the Wuyue Kingdom Culture has had a profound influence on Hangzhou. More than 1,000 years ago, King Qian of Wuyue established the Wuyue Kingdom, built seawalls along Qiantang River, dredged the West Lake, and expanded the city of Hangzhou, making it the "paradise on earth". Besides, he "returned the land to the Song Dynasty" to avoid war, which laid a solid foundation for Hangzhou to become the "No. 1 State in the Southeast" in the Northern Song Dynasty and the capital of the Southern Song Dynasty, and "illuminates" Song Yun (Charm of the Song Dynasty) Culture. It can be said that in Hangzhou, "Wuyue Kingdom Culture" and "Song Yun Culture" come from the same origin.
