Intangible cultural heritage is the unique memory of a city. Among the many intangible cultural heritage items in Hangzhou, five items, including Art of Chinese Seal Engraving, Sericulture and Silk Craftsmanship of China, Guqin and Its Music, the Twenty-Four Solar Terms, Traditional Tea Processing Techniques and Associated Social Practices in China, have been included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, allowing the world to see the charm of Chinese traditional culture.
