Recently, the 2nd Hangzhou Rural Film Week kicked off in Tonglu.
The Rural Film Week is an important platform for promoting local cultural prosperity and the integration of culture and tourism. With its unique natural landscapes, Tonglu has become an ideal filming location in the hearts of many filmmakers.
The opening ceremony began with the energetic melody of the dance performance "Bright Future." Subsequently, the electric violin performance of "Butterfly Lovers" and the acrobatic show "Butterfly Romance" amazed the audience by blending traditional art with modern techniques; famous Yue Opera performer Wang Hangjuan's rendition of "The Tree of Longing" received thunderous applause.
As the highlight of this year's Rural Film Week, the "Most Beautiful Jiangnan - Ecological Theme Film Exhibition" and the "Zhejiang Common Prosperity" documentary image collection Tonglu station creative activities were simultaneously launched.
In the following days, the ecological theme film exhibition will select more than ten outstanding works, including "Fantasy Forest: The Beast Language Kid," for touring screenings in Tonglu's beautiful villages; in the "Zhejiang Common Prosperity" creative activities, college student creative teams will follow the film screening teams into the fields, capturing images of people working and recording cultural activities.
This year's Rural Film Week focuses on "Culture + Technology," promoting the flow of film resources to grassroots communities through training, screenings, creative activities, and other forms, helping to build "China's Most Beautiful Film and Tourism Destination."
