Hangzhou's breathtaking nightscape has reached new heights with the launch of the CityFly Night Tour, offering visitors a rare chance to take in the dazzling views of the Qiantang River from a helicopter.
The tour, aptly named "Qiantang Splendor", departs from the Xinlian Aviation Base and takes passengers on a 15-minute journey over some of Hangzhou's most iconic landmarks. The route includes the Olympic Sports Expo City, City Balcony, Fuxing Bridge, Liuhe Pagoda, West Lake Scenic Area, and the Hubin Viewing Platform, before returning along the Qiantang River. Operating daily from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, each flight accommodates 4–5 passengers, ensuring an intimate and unforgettable experience.
Covering a 19-kilometer stretch of the Qiantang River's golden shoreline, the tour offers a seamless panorama of Hangzhou’s rich history and vibrant modernity. From historic buildings to contemporary landmarks, passengers can enjoy a unique "three-dimensional" perspective of the city's dynamic beauty, making it a must-try experience for locals and tourists alike.
While the current route showcases Hangzhou's nighttime splendor, Shangcheng District is already planning to introduce new aerial tour routes featuring iconic landmarks such as Bagua Field, Gaoting Mountain, Deshou Palace, and the Qian’er Block.
Building on the success of the "No. 1 Aerial Terminal" at Raffles City in Qianjiang New Town, new terminals are also being planned for the Jianghehui area. These facilities aim to serve as cultural and tourism hubs, designed to be accessible to the general public. The ultimate goal is to create an integrated "water-land-air" cultural and tourism experience, further enriching Hangzhou's appeal as a world-class travel destination.
With these exciting developments, Hangzhou is elevating its status as a must-visit destination, offering visitors unforgettable experiences from every angle—land, water, and air.
