A Mysterious Sea of Flowers Appears in Hangzhou

From late August to mid-September, the cluster amaryllis is in full bloom, making it the perfect time to admire these stunning flowers.

You may know cluster amaryllis by its other names: spider lily, red magic lily, equinox flower or mañjusaka.

According to staff at the Hangzhou Botanical Garden, there are many varieties of cluster amaryllis, and their blooming period lasts over twenty days. The next half month marks the peak time for these gorgeous flowers to blossom.

With vibrant shades of rose pink, light purple, soft pink, and creamy yellow, they create a "dopamine outfit" across the grasslands.

The main area for viewing cluster amaryllis is located in the economic plant zone and classification zone of the botanical garden. Entering through the south gate, visitors can immediately catch a glimpse of these beautiful flowers.

Staff members also revealed a hidden gem for viewing cluster amaryllis within the garden. By walking about a hundred meters along the trail from the Qinglong Mountain Arboretum toward Lingfeng, you can discover this enchanting sea of flowers on a small hillside.

Don't miss out on this limited beauty—let's head to the Hangzhou Botanical Garden to explore the cluster amaryllis together!
