Hangzhou Unveils a Sprawling New "Mega" Park

This is an exciting development for the city of Hangzhou. One of the first ten key projects of the Liangzhu Cultural Corridor has just unveiled its model section — the "Dream Path" within the Jingshan Tea Culture Park. This new park addition promises to provide the people of Hangzhou with yet another expansive green space right in their own backyard.

The Jingshan Tea Culture Park is situated on the former site of the Hangzhou Tea Experimental Station, located in Pingxiao Town. Strategically positioned along the main route leading to the centuries-old Jingshan Temple, the park also lies at the core intersection of the Greater Jingshan and Liangzhu urban blocks.

Planned and developed by the Yuhang Culture and Tourism Group, this ambitious project is divided into three phases, with a total development area spanning an impressive 5,807 mu (approximately 387 hectares).

The soon-to-be-unveiled Phase 1 model section, known as the "Dream Path," is situated in the northern block of the park. It has been designed with a focus on evoking the ambiance of Song Dynasty tea culture.

Guided by the overarching concept of "tea culture, tea industry, and tea technology" integration, this area will transform into a Jingshan Zen Tea Culture themed space. Visitors can look forward to immersive performances, Jingshan tea tasting experiences, tea-themed cultural activities, and even boutique hotels with a tea motif. The aim is to provide an all-encompassing, dreamlike experience that allows guests to journey through Jingshan's past and present in a truly surreal fashion.

This new park development is sure to become a major draw for both local Hangzhou residents and visitors alike, offering a unique blend of natural scenery, cultural heritage, and innovative leisure experiences.
