The National Archaeological Park of the Mausoleum of the King of Wuyue is a park with significant influence and representativeness of Wuyue culture, comprehensively showcasing the millennium-long historical and cultural heritage of Wuyue Kingdom, which was founded by Qian Liu, the founder of Wuyue Kingdom, in Lin'an, and highlighting the unique charm of Lin'an as a famous city of Wuyue.
The National Archaeological Park of the Mausoleum of the King of Wuyue was planned and constructed in 2018. Covering an area of 84.76 hectares, the park is divided into three areas: the Taimiao Mountain area, the Gongchen Mountain area, and the area along Tashan Road, presenting a layout resembling a dumbbell shape with "two areas and one axis". The park is distributed on both sides of Qianwang Street, a commuting road for the Asian Games, and includes projects such as the renovation of the Qianwang Ancestral Hall, the ruins of the Taimiao Temple (the Imperial Ancestral Temple), the city relics park, the ruins of the Jingtusi Temple, and Wuyue Culture and History Commercial Street.
Currently, the Taimiao Mountain area, the museum, Gongchen Pagoda, Gongchen Mountain area, and the ruins of the Jingtusi Temple continue to provide services to visitors. There is also a picturesque spot for photography in the archaeological park — the Urban Study.
