Hangzhou is a city rich in historical and cultural heritage, as well as a modern metropolis.

In the center of this city stands a landmark building—the Chenghuang Pavilion. This pavilion, with its unique architectural style, rich historical and cultural significance, and distinctive scenic views, attracts countless visitors from home and abroad.

Climbing Chenghuang Pavilion allows you to enjoy panoramic views of Hangzhou’s rivers, lakes, mountains, and city, making it an excellent spot for a comprehensive overlook of Hangzhou.

The overall design of Chenghuang Pavilion features architectural styles from the Southern Song and Yuan dynasties. It stands 41.6 meters tall with a construction area of 3,789 square meters. Its arched doors are built with mushroom wall stones, and the solid base, constructed from large stones, symbolizes the long history of the ancient Hangzhou city walls.

Inside the Chenghuang Pavilion tea house, all tables and chairs are made in the Song Dynasty style, and the staff wear clothing with Song elements. Combining the culinary characteristics of the Southern Song Dynasty, the tea house offers Song-style tea snacks, light meals, dishes, Song-style utensils, and souvenirs, striving to create a Song-style tea house integrating Song-style décor, Southern Song cuisine, tea ceremonies, and special performances.

Here, whether you are enjoying tea alone or with company, you can find a sense of leisure and tranquility amidst the fragrant tea.

In recent years, as the inheritance and protection of tea culture continue to develop and extend, the Chenghuang Pavilion tea house has put significant effort into integrating "tea+" elements. It continuously innovates in tea cuisine, incorporates more "Song" elements in the design of tea spaces, and enriches the elegant fun of imitating Song-style tea ceremonies for the preservation of tea heritage.
