The Hangzhou-style Romance of “Flower Viewing Across the City” is Coming Again!

On April 27th, the 2nd Hangzhou Rose Exhibition of 2024, themed "Flowers Across Hangzhou, Enjoying Life", will be held at the Hangzhou Flower Nursery. The Hangzhou-style romance of "Flowers Viewing Across the City" is coming again!

This flower exhibition will feature a main themed garden, six rose parks, and multiple mid-air flower corridors connecting them to form a multi-dimensional landscape cluster. The themed garden is Guo's Villa, and the six rose parks include the Hangzhou Flower Nursery, Daguan Park, Xixi Rose Garden, Nanjiang Park, Park of the Wuchang North Park Zone, and Century Park.

01 Themed Garden: Guo's Villa

New excellent varieties will be showcased at Guo's Villa this year. A total of ten new varieties from the "Xizi" series and "Xihu" series will be displayed, all of which are new excellent varieties cultivated independently in recent years in China. In addition to the new varieties, visitors can also see specimens of Chinese wild roses and the parent materials of modern rose hybrid breeding.

Within the themed garden Guo's Villa, there are five major exhibition areas: the rose variety exhibition area, the flower arrangement art exhibition area, the garden ornament exhibition area, the environmental decoration exhibition area, and the rose popular science exhibition area, showcasing more than 260 new excellent varieties of roses to citizens and tourists.

02 Rose Park: Shihua Square, Hangzhou Flower Nursery

As one of the six rose parks, Shihua Square of Hangzhou Flower Nursery will showcase more than 100 rose varieties and over 50,000 rose plants. A magnificent spring romance is about to come. When nearly ten thousand square meters of roses bloom simultaneously, shrub roses and tree roses will complement each other, presenting a spectacular sea of roses in various colors.

In addition to enjoying the flowers, many exciting activities are waiting for you to participate in. At Shihua Square, there is a creative market called "Chenyue Flower Market", integrating cultural and creative products, leisure, food, and interactive activities, as well as popular science research activities. You can not only take beautiful photos but also experience the fun brought by various activities, which is very enjoyable.
