01 Qijiaqiao Village
Qijiaqiao Village is located in the north-easternmost of Linping District, on the north bank of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It borders Tongxiang to the north and Deqing to the west. It is the geographical bridgehead for the integration and development of Linping area, even the entire Hangzhou, with Jiaxing and Huzhou.
Qijiaqiao Village has rich cultural heritage. It has the thousand-year-old ancient temple called Huiri Zen Temple which was initially built during the Sui Dynasty, the municipal-level cultural heritage site known as Chun'an Bridge, which spans three prefectures with one bridge, a 369-year-old ancient camphor tree that served as a landmark for the ancient canal, as well as the Qing Dynasty Qijia Bridge, built in the 16th year of Emperor Guangxu. These are all must-visit hidden gems.
02 Hangxin Village
Hangxin Village is located in the northwest corner of the Grand Canal, adjacent to Deqing, Tangqi, and so on, with the southern part closely connected to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. The village has a total of eight rivers, with a length of 3.48 kilometers. With convenient water and land transportation, along with excellent natural resources, the aquaculture and farming industries thrive here. It is truly a land of plenty.
03 Tanggong Village
Tanggong Village in the Grand Canal Sub-district is adjacent to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, with Heyu Road passing through the village. It has convenient water and land transportation, only 3 kilometers away from Long'an Subway Station, about a 20-minute drive to downtown Linping, and approximately 45 minutes to downtown Hangzhou. With the construction of the Wuhang Ancient Town and the Grand Canal Park, the village has now developed mature tourist areas.
Tanggong Village has rich cultural heritage and is home to many famous people. It has the ancient temple Yuhuang Temple, which is associated with the legendary story of Dayu's flood control, the provincial intangible cultural heritage project known as the Grand Canal Scrolls, and the memorial hall of Shen Jinsi, a famous figure from the Qing Dynasty.
04 Dongxin Village
Dongxin Village is located in the eastern part of the Grand Canal Sub-district, bordering the city of Tongxiang to the east. It has been awarded the titles of "Beautiful Village" and "Featured Boutique Village."
The colorful rapeseed flower fields along the Boting Line in Dongxin Village are a stunning sight not to be missed in spring. Now, the confluence of the second channel of the Grand Canal and the ancient Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is located within the village. The development of waterway transportation will bring more vitality to the village.
