The Wulin Star Expo Center has officially opened its doors. With over 30,000 square meters of exhibition space, four international themed exhibitions, and nearly 30 commercial establishments, the former Hangzhou Oxygen Plant has been revitalized as a cultural expo complex.
A Stylish New Landmark
Located in the northern wing of the core CBD area in Gongshu District, the Wulin Star Expo Center is one of the largest industrial heritage sites in Hangzhou.
The 2024 Asia Design Management Forum & Lifestyle Innovation Exhibition (referred to as "ADM") is being held concurrently. This year's ADM features a strong international presence, including a touring exhibition of cultural exchange works from Belt and Road Initiative countries and the first pop-up "art supermarket" in East China, created by Lucy Sparrow.
Currently, over 30 commercial brands have set up shop, with more than 50% being flagship stores.
Revitalizing the Urban Area
On April 30 of this year, Hangzhou Exhibition Group Co., Ltd. fully took over operations and has since introduced or hosted several events, including the World Leisure Expo and the Hangzhou West Lake International Expo, breathing new life into the old factory and invigorating the local community.
Industrial heritage has a unique charm. In recent years, Gongshu District has thoroughly explored and revitalized its "old factories and streets." Places like Little River Park, transformed from an oil factory industrial zone, and the retired transport trains from Hanggang have become popular destinations, adding vibrancy to the city’s development.
