The route of the West Lake sightseeing tourist car is now divided into four sections, which are Children's Palace (Shengtang Floodgate) – Yongjin Gate, Yongjin Gate – Leifeng Pagoda, Leifeng Pagoda – Yue Fei Mausoleum (Kuahong Bridge), and Yue Fei Mausoleum (Kuahong Bridge) – Children's Palace (Shengtang Floodgate).
Attractions along the way: Children's Palace (Shengtang Floodgate) → Fengbo Pavilion, Hupanju Teahouse, New Hubin Scenic Area, Statue of Volunteer Army, Longxiangqiao Station of Metro Line 1, No. 3 Lakeside Park Music Fountain and No. 1 Lakeside Park → Yongjin Gate → Park of Orioles Singing in the Willows, Xueshi Park (Luoma Square) and Park of Long Bridge → Leifeng Pagoda → Fish Viewing at Flower Pond, Su Causeway Scenic Area and Breeze-ruffled Lotus at Quyuan Garden → Yue Fei Mausoleum (Kuahong Bridge) → Xiling Bridge, Xiling Seal-engravers' Society, Louwailou, Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake, Bai Causeway Scenic Area and Broken Bridge → Children's Palace (Shengtang Floodgate). The entire trip is about 13.5 kilometers and takes about 60 to 70 minutes.
How to take it: The battery tourist car around West Lake adopts the method of "hopping on, hopping off, and buying tickets after getting on". There is no fixed ticket office for it. You can scan a QR code on the car to buy a digital ticket based on your destination. You can get on and off whenever and wherever you want. However, it's a single-pass ticket. If you get off midway, the ticket is automatically invalidated and a new one needs to be purchased if you want to ride again.
There are two types of charging standards, depending on the type of vehicle. For a regular sightseeing car, the fare is 40 yuan per person for the entire trip and 10 yuan per person for each section. For an antique sightseeing car, the fare is 80 yuan per person for the entire trip and 20 yuan per person for each section.
