Lin Bu was a famous hermit poet of the early Northern Song Dynasty. He, eventually retired to the Solitary Hill of the West Lake, never seeking a political career or getting married. He viewed “plum blossoms as his wife and cranes as his sons”.

After the death of Lin Bu, a famous hermit poet of the early Northern Song Dynasty, Emperor Renzong of the Song bestowed him the posthumous title of "Hejing". The tomb of Lin Bu was first built in the Northern Song Dynasty, and a tombstone was erected in the Xianchun Period of the Southern Song Dynasty. The circular tomb and the bluestone tombstone restored in the Qing Dynasty are still well preserved.
