The Chenghuang Pavilion Scenic Area is adjacent to the remains of the Southern Song Imperial City and is located atop the beautiful and long-standing Wushan Hill. It is an ancient-style building with the royal style of the Southern Song Dynasty. The "Southern Song Hangzhou Scenery Map" in Chenghuang Pavilion Cultural Exhibition Area, which is the most precious collection of the site, vividly portrays the various aspects of life in Hangzhou during the Southern Song Dynasty. The recreational sightseeing area provides a great panoramic view of the West Lake and a chance to taste traditional afternoon tea and enjoy performances such as Southern Song Dynasty Diancha and traditional stringed and woodwind instrument music.
