In November 1987, the Hangzhou Silk Market was built. At the end of West Jiankang Road that is near Fengqi Road, 72 stores are open. Nowadays, Hangzhou China Silk City, which has already been a "national brand", is home to more than 400 silk enterprises, among which there are a number of Chinese time-honored brands such as HSDP and Du Jinsheng, as well as many silk enterprises with provincially and municipally renowned trademarks.

Dujinsheng Silk Boutique Mall

Dujinsheng brocade, a traditional silk weaving handicraft in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, is one of the famous brocades. In 1922, the patriotic industrialist, Du Jinsheng, founded the "Dujinsheng Silk Weaving Factory" in Hangzhou. On the basis of inheriting the traditional Hangzhou brocade craft, Dujinsheng Silk Weaving Factory continuously innovates and improves, develops colorful embroidery, warp and weft jacquard silk weaving landscape painting and other crafts, and embodies the expression form of Chinese painting and Western painting through the brocade craft, forming a unique artistic style. Its product won a gold medal at the 1926 Philadelphia International Exposition.

In May 2005, Dujinsheng brocade was selected as one of the first intangible cultural heritage of Zhejiang Province.

Cathaya Silk Road Cultural Experience Museum

Zhejiang Cathaya International Co., Ltd., formerly known as Zhejiang Branch of China Silk Company, was established in 1950. In 2008, Zhejiang Cathaya Group was established through reform and restructuring. It is a joint-equity enterprise group with silk weaving as its main business, combining agriculture, science, industry and trade, promoting both domestic and foreign sales, and featuring ownership diversification.
