Sepaktakraw

Sepaktakraw or kick volleyball is a sport with similarities to volleyball which is played with hand, but Sepaktakraw is played with feet, knees, head and chest.


A match is played by two teams each made up of three players.


The winning point for a set is 21 points, but if the two teams tie at 20-20 the set shall be decided on a difference of two points, up to 25 points. When the score is tied at 20-20 the referee announces "setting up to 25 points".


Sepaktakraw was first incorporated into the Asian Games in 1990.


The sepaktakraw of the Hangzhou Asian Games will be held in Jinhua Sports Centre Gymnasium from September 24 to October 7, and the athletes will compete for 6 gold medals.
