Being the largest waterfront park and urban ‘green lung’ in Binjiang District, Baima Lake Park covers a total area of approximately 1,500 acres, of which the land coverage occupies around 700 acres. The entire park was built in accordance with the concept emphasizing ecology, originality, people-centeredness and sharing, leading to an idyllic landscape decorated with flowers everywhere all year round that features four distinct seasons and rich experience entertainment. In this way, Baima Lake Park serves as an ecological and cultural park integrating functions such as cultural continuity, ecological display, leisure experience, and creative communication. Every year, the park organizes a series of high-end and influential large-scale theme activities including China International Cartoon and Animation Festival, Hangzhou Cultural and Creative Industry Expo, China International Online Literature Week and Strawberry Music Festival, receiving nearly 850,000 people.
