Yangpi Lake is located in the Huangtianfan area in the northern part of Fuyang District, Hangzhou. It covers an area of approximately 4,300 acres, with a lake area of about 1,600 acres. The park is divided into one lake and seven gardens. The main lake is called Yangpi Ancient Lake, and the seven gardens include Jianjia Garden, Yilinghua Garden, Huaman Garden, Hefeng Garden, Yuqu Garden, Qinglian Garden, and Daoxiang Garden. Yangpi Lake serves as a restoration of the original urban water system and functions as flood control and water storage. It not only meets the traditional water management needs but also serves as a central wetland, green sponge, and ecological lung for the Hangzhou metropolitan area. It acts as the ecological core and vibrant heart, promoting high-quality urban development. It is a demonstration model for national-level ecological restoration and a showcase area for rice culture.
