Yu Dafu House

The Yu Dafu House is located within the Yu Dafu Park. The structure consists of a stone gate connecting to a courtyard and the main building (a two-story building). Mr. Yu Dafu was born here and resided in the West Wing from the age of 16 to 18 for studying and writing. The main building showcases exhibits on both floors, including original artifacts, a biography of Yu Dafu, his study and writing room, as well as calligraphic and artistic works by famous individuals. The display aims to recreate the original appearance of the residence, presenting scenes from Yu Dafu's childhood, youth, and married life. Yu Dafu once recalled that his nearly two years of solitary study and life here were the most fruitful and influential preparatory period of his life. The Yu Dafu House is recognized as a provincial-level popular science education base. Through its upgraded renovation, it will better serve as a site for patriotic education and promote the dissemination of red culture, revolutionary traditions, and clean government education.
