Located in the southwestern part of Chun'an County, Xiajiang Village comprises four natural village settlements. Since 2001, Xiajiang Village has served as the grassroots work contact point for six provincial party secretaries, including President Xi Jinping, who has visited the village four times to conduct research and provide guidance. The party branch of Xiajiang Village has received recognition as a national advanced collective in poverty alleviation and an advanced grassroots party organization in the national "Strive to be the First" campaign. Xiajiang Village has been recognized as a national civilized village, a national demonstration village for democracy and the rule of law, a beautiful and leisurely rural area in China, and a key village for rural tourism in the country. In 2020, Xiajiang Village successfully passed the evaluation for a national 4A-level scenic area. There are currently 36 rural B&Bs with 639 beds in the village. Xiajiang Village is a typical representative of beautiful rural areas in China and features attractions such as Siyuan Pavilion (思源亭), the filming location of the movie "Me and My Hometown," Shicheng Winery (狮城酒坊), Stone Painting Studio (石头画室), Lang Qiao (廊桥), and a demonstration hall for rural revitalization.
