Common Bus
As of the end of June 2023, Hangzhou has 1,240 operating bus lines and 9,988 operating vehicles (excluding two counties and one city under the jurisdiction of Hangzhou City).
Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)
With the increasing development of Hangzhou's metro network, only one BRT line remains in Hangzhou as of August 2023.

Water Bus
Hangzhou is the first city in the country to operate water public transport buses along the artery of the Grand Canal in the urban area.
