The Watercourse and Workshop Area

As the tourist battery car passes through the Watercourse and Workshop area, you can see the Zhongjiagang River, which has been flowing for 5,000 years. It is the artery that runs through the northern and southern parts of Liangzhu Ancient City.

The park has also restored the bamboo weaving structures and rows of bank-protected timber piles that lined the river at the time. Many artificial platforms from the Liangzhu period are scattered along the watercourse. On the platforms, sculptures showing the riverside life of the Liangzhu people are on display.

At present, the workshop area has set up jade ware, lacquer ware, paper quilling art, spinning top, and textile production experience workshops, which can not only develop children's imagination and creativity but also benefit parent-child interaction. The program has been well received by the vast majority of families.
