Dongziguan Scenic Village

As a 3A scenic village in Zhejiang Province, Dongziguan has a visitor center, complete internal infrastructure, large and small meeting rooms that can accommodate more than 200 people at the same time, and a number of tourist toilets and parking lots in the village. 

Dongziguan has a history of 1,500 years. It has always been an important pass of the ancient waterway between Hangzhou and Anhui. The South Bank of the Fuchun River is a distribution center for commerce and trade. It is an ancient village with a swift flow of passengers and a bustling market, therefore Dongziguan has a strong cultural heritage and humanistic atmosphere. In ancient times, there were stories about Xu Yu's filial piety, and in the Qing Dynasty, there was a family custom of Xu Shifang doing good deeds. In 1932, when the great writer Yu Dafu was convalescing in the village, he wrote Dongziguan into his novel of the same name. In 1960, Zhang Shaofu, a descendant of Fuchun Zhang's Orthopedics, set up a joint clinic of traditional Chinese medicine in Anya Pharmacy, and made Dongziguan even more famous. In 2016, the construction of the new "New Hangzhou-Style Residential House" was rated as "the most beautiful resettlement houses" by netizens. It has been publicized and reported by central media such as "Xinwen Lianbo (News Simulcast)", and provincial and municipal media more than 30 times. It was successfully selected as the Top Ten Phenomena of Hangzhou Quality Life General Comment in 2017.

Dongziguan is the permanent venue for the Fuchun Freshwater Food Conference, where there are more than 100 kinds of freshwater food.
