Tonglu Art Village - Meirong

Meirong Village is located in the northeast corner of Tonglu County. It has been rated as the fourth batch of key villages for the protection and utilization of historical and cultural villages in Zhejiang Province traditional, Chinese villages, and 3A scenic spots in Zhejiang Province. Meirong is famous for "Plum" in history, and more than 200 poems have been left by literati in previous dynasties. In the sixty or seventy years of the last century, Meirong's spirit, which dared to turn barren beaches into an oasis, was famous at home and abroad. It has become an important window for China to show the superiority of socialism. 44 batches of 482 foreign dignitaries from more than 60 countries have visited Meirong. 

During the construction of Tonglu into a "Beautiful Village", Meirong Village actively builds an art village, taking the holding of art festivals as an opportunity to outline a beautiful blueprint for poetic habitats along the Fuchun River.

Main experience features: 1. Art exhibition: Visitors can enjoy 20 public artworks created by artists from China's top ten art academies at any time in the field, and enjoy major theme art exhibitions in the old houses in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. 2. Farming cultural experience: Meirong Village has 1200 mu of rice expo garden, which is divided into an art rice field area and a new variety display area. Rice field paintings and new varieties of rice, rape, etc. have been planted for many years. Visitors can learn about the latest agricultural science and technology and appreciate the beauty of pastoral art.
