Longmen Ancient Town is located on the south bank of Fuchun River, 52 kilometers southwest of Hangzhou. It is the hometown of Emperor Sun Quan of the East Wu of the Three Kingdoms. It has a long history and profound cultural accumulation, and still retains a strong clan atmosphere and unique folk customs. It is the best-preserved ancient architectural complex of the Ming and Qing dynasties in the south of the Yangtze River.
Longmen Ancient Town Scenic area covers an area of 2 square kilometers and more than 90% of the residents are surnamed Sun, which is the largest settlement for the descendants of Sun Quan. The ancient town with ancestral halls and halls as the center to build a labyrinth of traditional residential settlements.
