Established in 2016, Zhejiang Conservatory of Music is a joint effort between the Zhejiang Provincial Government and the Ministry of Culture. It is the first undergraduate music and arts college in Zhejiang Province. Currently, the campus covers an area of 602 mu with a total building area of 360,000 square meters. It has teaching instruments and equipment worth approximately 149 million yuan and a collection of 253,000 books. Following the design concept of "a mountain residence of music, moving landscapes," the college provides first-class facilities suitable for higher music education. It also features open performance venues, including a large theater, concert hall, and art complex.
