Towards the Clouds in Yuhang

Slow down, as life is full of scenery. Look around and Yu Hang's scenery is so healing. Towards the clouds, towards beauty, let’s set off now!

01 Towards the Clouds - Behold the Vast Beauty

Climbing up to the clouds, one becomes enchanted by the dawn of Luniao Mountain. Faint morning light pierces through thin clouds, partially seen in the misty haze.

One cannot miss the view of clouds from the top of Wangwei Mountain, where the sea of clouds makes you feel you were in a heavenly palace. Sometimes the clouds unfold and sometimes they swirl, hiding the peaks from time to time. It looks like a mesmerizing wonderland.

Look down from the clouds at the ancient city of Liangzhu. Shrouded in mist and clouds, the mysteriousness of the ancient kingdom becomes palpable. Stepping into it, one can feel its grandeur and solemnity.

Mountain villages are like a fairyland. Villages built along the mountains are enveloped in ethereal clouds. Being there gives a sense of tranquility and contentment like being in an elusive paradise.

On the summit of the clouds, sunlight sprinkles on the earth through the clouds as you overlook the modernity and prosperity of the Future Technology City. It is majestic and breathtaking.

02 Beyond the Mountains - There Are Poems and Distant Land

Hey, how long has it been since last time you hiked a mountain? Compared to the hustle and bustle of the city, the lush mountains highlight the soothing tranquility and the clear sky. With trees providing shade in summer, you can measure the beautiful scenery of mountains and seas with your footsteps. Embark on a forest hike, and hide in the wilderness to find healing landscapes.

The most recommended trail to hike is the Jingshan Mountain Ancient Path. Go along the path upward, with lush bamboos on both sides and a gentle mountain breeze caressing your face. Along the way, there are scenic spots such as Wuting Pavilion, Southern Song Dynasty stone carvings, and the ink stone pool.

Ascend to the mountaintop, stand in front of the Jingshan Mountain Temple and watch the sunrise over the sea of clouds. One will feel a sense of pilgrimage and devotion.

You can get to the top of Mount Yaotou to see the moving white clouds. With an altitude of 1,095 meters, it is the highest peak in Yuhang, and the main peak at the eastern end of the Tianmu Mountains and also one of the important sources of Taihu Lake.

However, ascending to the top of Mount Yaotou is not easy. The path along the way twists and turns through mountain streams for more than ten miles and is full of wild charm. Along the way, you can also see a waterfall group composed of nine waterfalls!

You can also encounter a rainbow in Machetou Village and watch the clouds roll over the fields and hills, experiencing the magic and romance of nature.

03 In the Water - There Is Freedom and Romance.

Yuhang doesn’t have sea, but the name "Land of Rivers and Lakes" is not just for show. When talking about the waters of Yuhang, we must mention the meandering and winding Taoxi River. Watch it flow quietly past the Pingyao Old Street, reflecting the sky above.

We should also mention the historically significant Grand Canal, the clear and vast Sanbai Pond, and the various reservoirs scattered in the mountains and fields. With sparkling waves and gentle breezes, people will instantly feel relaxed and comfortable.

In the scorching summer, the blue sky paired with the clear water brings a refreshing coolness. Strolling among the green mountains and rivers, one can feel the magical healing power of nature.

The clear and shallow water reflects the blue sky. Here, thoughts can soar freely, as carefree as the wind. The reflection of clouds on the lake's surface is endlessly captivating. This is the most beautiful interpretation of the green mountains and clear waters.
