01 Linpingshan Greenway 临平山绿道
The Linpingshan Greenway is a mountain greenway that runs around Linping Mountain. It measures 12 km in length and the newly built section is 6 km long and 4.5 meters wide. It stretches from the Azalea Garden in the east to Linpingshan Sports and Leisure Park in the west. The greenway, “traversing between mountains and forests, stretching above the city and built among the people”, is the top choice for people to tour, go sightseeing, and exercise. In 2020, it was selected as “The Most Beautiful Greenway in Zhejiang”. Recently, the azaleas in the garden have bloomed. If you are free, you should come!
02 Shangtanghe Greenway 上塘河绿道
Shangtanghe Greenway starts at Tiandu City (天都城) in the west and Lindong Road (临东路) in the east. The 11-kilometer-long greenway is built along the Shangtang River (上塘河) and borders the river all the way. The greenway passes by many blocks and is an important part of the construction of the Linping District Greenway “Slow Pace System”. The greenway project has retained the trees inside the site, appropriately added colored-leafed trees and flowering trees, and analyzed and updated the middle and lower-level greenway, forming a unique landscape with crystal-clear water, beautiful shores, and an elegant environment.
03 Donghu Greenway 东湖绿道
The Donghu Greenway starts at Renmin Avenue in the north and ends at Shiji Avenue in the south. The 7.5-meter-long greenway borders water the entire way and features a broad view, providing a comfortable touring experience. There are five highlights of the Donghu Greenway, that are, the Wisdom Greenway with a VR super experience hall; the Convenience Greenway, with well-equipped public facilities; the Energy-Saving Greenway, with multiple energy-saving structures; the Forest Greenway, with well-arranged plants presenting different seasonal views and natural views; the Dreamy Greenway, with a fashionable and modern night view lighting system.
04 Hangzhou Running Center Greenway 杭州跑步中心绿道
The Hangzhou Running Center Greenway is characterized by many running tracks with different lengths and styles, including a 3.5-kilometer-long 5-meter-wide main track, a 0.8-kilometer-long and 4.2-meter-wide rainbow track, a 2.5-meter-wide wave track, and a 2.4-meter-wide children's fun track.
05 Wangmeilu Health Greenway 望梅路健康绿道
Wangmeilu Health Greenway is 2.7 kilometers in length. It is constructed under an overpass, making the most of the space under the Wangmeilu Overpass. It is set up with a 2,680 sq m sports venue, including facilities for sports such as basketball, badminton, and football. It provides an exercise venue for downtown residents. Even in rainy and windy weather, sports enthusiasts can still breathe fresh air and exercise comfortably, which is quite different from working out indoors.
06 Tangchao Path 塘超小径
Tangchao Path, 20 kilometers long, integrates the features of Tangxi as a Jiangnan water town, connecting Tangxi Ancient Town, Dingshan Lake, and Chaoshan Scenic Area, creating the axis of “famous mountain, famous lake, and famous town” tourism, forming a primitive waterside tourist path and mountain/forest tourist path, which has greatly improved the quality of the regional environment and citizens’ life. The beauty of Tangchao Path lies in its winding tourist path, riverside walks, and its peaceful and serene environment.
