01 Hangzhou Branch of National Archives of Publications and Culture | Modern Charm
Hangzhou Branch of the National Archives of Publications and Culture (杭州国家版本馆), also known as "Wenrun Pavilion (文润馆)", is located in Pingmi Town, Yuhang District, with a total area of about 100,000 square meters. Situated in a building near a World Heritage Site, it is low-key but elegant. The building was converted from a disused mine. It took two years to build, taking advantage of natural mountains, water, vines, and trees. It perfectly integrates the temperament of the Song Dynasty with local styles, reflecting the precipitation of history and the exchange and mutual learning between Chinese culture and world civilizations.
02 Changle Forest Farm | All You See Is Beautiful Scenery - Colorful Forest
Changle Forest Farm (长乐林场) is located in the northwest of Hangzhou, in Jingshan Town, and consists of four forest areas: Xishan (西山), Gangmei (缸梅), Zhonggan (中甘), and Huanghu Lake (黄湖). As one of the earliest forest farms established in Zhejiang Province and one of the earliest units in China to carry out the work of improved forest species, Changle Forest Farm has become the forest with the most selected tree species and the largest area in Zhejiang Province through the hard work of several generations of forest farm staff.
03 Wangwei Mountain | Best Sunset Photography Spot - Verdant Mountains
Wangwei Mountain (王位山), also known as Huanghui Mountain (黄回山), is about 745 meters above sea level, at the junction of Yuhang (余杭) and Deqing (德清). Behind the name of Wangwei Mountain, there is an allusion: at the end of the Tang Dynasty, Huang Chao (黄巢), the leader of the peasant uprising and known as the "General Chongtian", raised troops here, and retreated here after his defeat. Wangwei Mountain is surrounded by peaks, verdant trees, clear springs and waterfalls, singing birds and fragrant flowers, and beautiful scenery. It is a natural ecological park. There is a waterfall known as a "thrilling pool" with a drop of 225 meters in the mountain, known as "the longest waterfall in East China". Wangwei Mountain has many hairpin bends and slopes, but it is a paradise for mountaineers and cyclists alike.

Nanhu Lake (南湖) is located in the west of Yuhang, with a water area of about 4.7 square kilometers. It was built during the Eastern Han Dynasty as a flood prevention functional area to defend against flooding from the Tiaoxi River. Nanhu Park in the spring has a special charm. The lake glistened and rippled with the passing breeze. The pristine natural environment attracts a large number of water birds to inhabit the site. Wild ducks are seen swimming in the lake, and now and then an egret come flying across from the depths of the reeds.

Made in Nature (自然造物) is transformed from a school with a history of more than 100 years — Pingyao First Primary School. Having been refurbished and decorated with traditional handicrafts on top of retaining the original building, it is a perfect spot to visit and take photographs. Unlike the norm, where exhibits are displayed at a distance from the viewer in a container, all the exhibits here are displayed in an open-air manner, allowing you to experience traditional folk arts and trendy designs up close.
