Climb High and Gaze Afar to Quietly Enjoy the Beautiful Autumn

Mountain hiking is a special ritual that belongs to autumn. Qiandao Lake is always known as "the place with 1000 peaks". Continuous and undulating mountains present the lake's iconic spectacle. At the turn of late autumn and early winter, come with some of your friends to Qiandao Lake, climb high and gaze far, and enjoy the sunset and the sunrise, the rime, and the sea of clouds.

01 Qiandao Lake National Mountaineering and Fitness Trail

At an altitude of roughly 280 meters in Mingzhu Sightseeing Park, the trail features lush green vegetation, fresher than fresh air, and beautiful surroundings. Quiet and elegant, it offers a wide view. Hiking along the trail is like walking in the clouds.

You can also overlook Qiandao Lake for a panoramic view of all the beautiful sights. It's actually the entrance to Qiandao Lake National Mountaineering and Fitness Trail.

The hiking trail is equipped with landscape ecological pavilions, platforms for photography, public rest facilities, etc. It also has a mountain biking experience track with a three-level guidance system. You can feast on the beautiful views of the Urban Lake District of Qiandao Lake and the dazzling night views of the town while exercising.

02 Jinzi Peak

Jinzi Peak, with an altitude of 1,450.8 meters, is the highest peak of Yuling Mountain in Chun'an County. It is named after the spectacular view of "the peak showing golden and purple colors under the morning sun".

Currently, there are two mountaineering trails to the summit, one from Wentanwu, Longtan Canyon, Jinzi Village, and the other from Hongyan Bay, Ganping Village. Both of them are set up with mountain hiking service stations and direction signs. Along the mountain hiking routes, there are trail guide boards, benches, guardrails, and viewing platforms to facilitate you as you hike, explore, climb, camp, and seek out novelties.

In autumn and winter, the colorful wild chrysanthemums on the mountain are second to none. In the early morning, the clouds seem endless and indistinct. The sun shines brightly on the world. The woods look dyed. Autumnal views abound on the mountain.

03 Gongshan Peak

Gongshan Peak sits in the southeastern part of Dashu Town, Chun'an County. The most beautiful road, Chunyang Line, passes by the foot of the mountain.

Gongshan Peak is about 658.3 meters above sea level. It is dangerous and abrupt, with undulating mountains all around and zigzagging water at its foot.

Mountaineering trails wind their way up the mountain. The mid-air skywalk is thrilling and novel. The pavilions are quaint and beautiful. As you ascend to the summit, you feel the view brightened and you are suddenly clear-headed.

04 Anyang Town National Fitness Trail

Anyang Town National Fitness Trail measures 41.2 kilometers in length. It is constructed according to "one center, one ring, and three zones" and is divided into three levels, A, B, and C. Among them, the A-level hiking trail is 11.2 meters long, the B-level 16.4 and the C-level 13.6.

The hiking trail connects Weiling Ancient Trail, Hongshan'ao Ecological Canyon, Wulong Sanjingjian, and other natural and cultural landscapes. If you are into sports, then you should not miss this.

05 Xiayuan Mountain

When you reach the summit of Xiayuan Mountain, which is over a thousand stone steps up, you can overlook Fenkou Town. Straight paths through fields, luxuriant fields, rural houses, trees, and cooking smoke curling up... Everything is there for you to see and you can't help but marvel at its beauty.

It also has a "Qiandao Lake" on the summit - Xiayuanshan Reservoir with clear water. It has nourished the verdant mountains and green waters of Fenkou Town for years. Trees, clouds and the sky are reflected in the water. It is the true color of nature.

06 Hongshan Valley

The Hongshan Valley Scenic Area, tucked away in the Qianligang Mountain Range, has plunging waterfalls, a great ecological environment, a pleasant climate, and the finest pristine vegetation.

Here, you can enjoy the rugged beauty that is described in Li Bai's poem, "Torrents and waterfalls out-roar over rocks, booming like thunder through a thousand caverns."
