A few days ago, Hangzhou Liuhe Road Reconstruction and Promotion Project has been basically completed, and the 6.3km-long area from Tianmushan Road to Yuhang District Boundary has taken on a new look.

The veritable "welcome road" makes travel more convenient

As the only main road leading to Hangzhou Asian Games Cricket Field, Liuhe Road is the III-level support road for the Asian Games, and it is also an image window of the venue for the Asian Games, regarded as the veritable "welcome road".

Fifteen important nodes have been set up on Liuhe Road. The entire greenway has been connected. The nearby residents and school teachers & students can exercise and relax on the greenway. There are various artistic sculptures for rest and appreciation. At this time next year, Liuhe Road will be hidden in the "forest full of flowers".

The road and landscape renovation was launched synchronously and the branch roads completed the renovation.

Liuhe Road is the only main road that connects Xiaoheshan Region to the main urban area and Yuhang District, carrying the important traffic and leisure functions of the block. On December 1, 2021, Liuhe Road officially started the construction. The renovation and reconstruction mainly involved road and landscape renovation. In addition to the reconstruction of Liuhe Road, eight branch roads around Liuhe Road completed the renovation one month ago. 

Up to now, the city has accumulatively completed 26 fast roads and 105 renovated roads along the metro lines this year. In the next step, it will continue to promote the construction of urban roads and strive to promote the transformation of urban infrastructure towards high quality.
