The Zhejiang-style Guqin was formed in the Southern Song Dynasty. Its founder was Guo Chuwang (郭楚望). Its style of playing Guqin is mellow in fingering and compact in rhythm. It is now a school of Guqin art, which is a national intangible cultural heritage. The West Lake Guqin Society is the place where the Zhejiang-style Guqin is taught. Here, you can listen to the Guqin performances, taste tea, and experience the basic fingering and introduction ditties of the Guqin.
