On the ancient sage in the Mingqian Garden (明前园), show-stopping Longmen Folk Custom performances are staging, including Dongwu War Horse (东吴战马), Kuixing Choosing Zhuangyuan* (魁星点状元) and excerpts from classic Yueju Opera. Besides, there are on-site calligraphy, ice ballet, magic show, face-changing and other interactive performances holding from time to time.

*Zhuangyuan is the title given to the scholar who achieved the highest score on the highest level of the Imperial examination.
