Brief of Baisha Village

Baisha Village is the result of the merger of the original three villages of Taizimiao Village, Baisha Village and Longxushan Village. Located at the source of Taihu Lake, east of Tianmu Mountain and backed by Tianhuangping, it is the source of Taihu Lake water system and is known as "No. 1 village at the source of Taihu Lake.” The village has a total area of 32 square kilometers and its forest coverage rate reaches more than 96%. It is the largest tourism village in Lin'an.

As a typical mounainous village, it is surrounded by lush green mountains. There is a long valley which extends for ten miles. There are rolling mountains on both sides, and rapid streams with water clear enough to see the stones at the bottom. It is the embodiment of the wonderful scenes described in the poems “Water flies straight down three thousand feet” and “Where the fleecy clouds have come to gather homes can be sighted.” With excellent ecological tourism resources, it is an excellent natural "oxygen bar.”
