The mascots of Hangzhou Asian Games are a group of robots carrying profound meaning and full of vitality of the times. They are overall known as "Memories of Jiangnan", which is derived from a famous line "When I recall Jiangnan, Hangzhou brings back most of my memories." by great Tang Dynasty poet Bai Juyi. It integrates Hangzhou's history, culture, natural ecology and innovation genes.

The mascots travel through time and space, carry dreams, express the joy of sports, showcase the splendor of culture, and set the economic benchmark, which are in line with the characteristics of the city and echo with the emblem and slogan of Hangzhou Asian Games. The three mascots are named "Chen Chen", "Cong Cong" and "Lian Lian". The three close friends will serve as the ambassadors of peace and friendship to spread the Olympic spirit throughout the world and send a warm invitation to Asia and the whole world to gather at the Hangzhou Asian Games 2022.
