Chun’an Velodrome is located on the bank of Qiandao Lake, surrounded by mountains and water and has very beautiful scenery. The project upholds the architectural design concept of "Fish Leap in Sunrise, Pearl in Thousand Island" and strives to become a bright "pearl" of Qiandao Lake. The project has a total investment of about 320 million yuan and covers an area of about 9,000 square meters and a total construction area of 24,282 square meters, and will have 3,000 seats after completion.

The design concept of Chun'an Velodrome is "Fish Leap in Sunrise - Pearl in Thousand Island", which is inspired by the red sun rising on the horizon and the water drops from the fish leaping on the water. It is a dynamic and auspicious design. The project is designed with membrane structures in certain areas and glass curtain walls. With computer-controlled lighting system, it brings about dynamic changes and colorful architectural effects and aims to become a bright "pearl" of Qiandao Lake.

The design of the architectural space fully takes the interaction between indoor and outdoor landscapes into consideration. In the audience hall, the transparent landscape boundary creates an ecological architectural exhibition out of the landscape of Qiandao Lake. The landscape is like a painting, appearing vividly in front of the eyes and highlighting the theme of Chun'an "Beautiful Landscape and Famous City of One Thousand Islands.”
