The Chun'an section of Qianhuang Highway newly launched on December 22, 2020 links the three 5A scenic spots "West Lake - Qiandao Lake - Huangshan" together. Day One
Around 9:00 am, you can set off from Hangzhou, bring your loved ones or friends, and drive out to experience the most beautiful highway - Qianhuang Highway. As it leads directly to Songcun Town, there is no need to take a detour from Qiandao Lake as before! It is very convenient, isn’t it? Much time is saved.
At around 11:30 am, you should arrive at Songcun Town.

Day Two
In the morning, you can drive along the Qianhuang Highway for five or six minutes to Weiping Town. You may visit the hometown of Fang La, the leader of the peasant rebellion in the late Northern Song Dynasty, to learn about his legend and that period of history. You may climb the Phoenix Mountain, the Buddhism of which was inherited from Jiuhua Mountain. From ancient times to nowadays, devotees will definitely visit Phoenix Mountain after making a pilgrimage to Jiuhua Mountain or vice versa. Both are indispensable.
You can also go picking strawberries at the strawberry garden in Lingjiao Village under Phoenix Mountain as it is the strawberry season now. You may go to Liudu Chahe New Village as well, which is a quaint village with beautiful scenery. There are many well-preserved ancient buildings, including Yongcui Pavilion, Shuikou Hall and the commune house at the time of collectivization. There are ancient pagodas, temples, roads, bridges and channels as well.
Then what to eat for lunch? Of course, you should try the local specialty of Weiping: the nine big bowls, also known as "eating nine bowls", which include tofu skin, white rice cakes, pork, tofu, buns, Wulu cakes, spring rolls, soup noodles and tofu fish. You may get up early and go to Fengping Mountain to enjoy the sunrise and the sea of clouds. Its altitude is about 300 meters, and it is surrounded by clouds all year round. The village is built along the mountain, and the local houses are simple but charming and are nicely distributed.
The beautiful scenery of Fengping Mountain makes it an excellent location of Qiandao Lake to enjoy a vacation, pursue wellness and photograph. "Fengping Yunshe" is known as one of the ten scenic spots in Qiandao Lake.
At noon, you can drive along the Qianhuang Highway for around 10 minutes to Qingxi Interchange. At this time, you can go to the Beer Town of Qiandao Lake to eat, have some fun and enjoy the remaining time of the holiday.
For lunch, you may go to the Garden Restaurant in the Beer Town and eat "mom's warm pot", which is a local specialty of Linqi in Chun'an. It is especially fit for winter. Take a bite. It is so delicious! The warm pot of Linqi, commonly known as "three layers", means the ingredients in it are put in three layers: top, middle and bottom. The bottom layer contains fresh radish, sliced and blanched. The middle layer contains mostly white tofu, which is cut into thin slices and put into the pot and is topped with side dishes like seaweed and yellow cauliflower, etc. The top layer contains mainly free-range pork, cut into squares and cooked in advance.
After that, you can stroll around the Beer Museum to explore the art of beer and immerse yourself in this joyful experience. You may also go karting, visit the Donkey Camp Adventure Park or enjoy a hot air balloon ride.
You may go to Qiandao Lake Trampoline Theme Amusement Park as well to experience trampoline. It is the largest internet-famous trampoline park in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.
