Qiandao Lake Experience Tour-Huangshan Peak
The main peak of Huangshan Peak Scenic spot is 266 meters above sea level. It has won the favor of numerous tourists for its "crystal-clear water, wondrous islands and serene and secluded views." It is eight kilometers away from Qiandaohu Town and overlooks Xianshan Tourist Resort, enjoying a very advantageous location. Huangshan Peak Scenic Spot is a key scenic spot newly developed in 2005 and is the largest and newest scenic spot with the most beautiful views developed by Qiandao Lake Scenic Area in recent years. It is located inside the Zhenzhu (Pearl) Peninsular in the Southeast Lake Area of Qiandao Lake and is the highest island in the area. 
Huangshan Peak takes an area of 600 mu (1 mu is roughly equal to 666 sq m) with the first phase covering 2000 sq m. Currently, the scenic area has various kinds of tourism receptions and service facilities including the wharf management area, tourist service center, sightseeing platforms on both halfway up the island and the top. In addition, a box-type pulsating sightseeing cableway with a total length of more than 300 meters and an investment of 10 million Yuan has been built and opened to tourists.
On the sightseeing platform atop, you will have different sceneries in different directions. If you look northwest, you will have a marvelous panoramic view of over 90 islands scattering around the lake and view the amazing four Chinese characters “天下为公(the Whole World as One Community)” which are naturally formed by these islands, especially the character "公", which is lifelike and magnificent, and fully deserve being viewed a wonder.
If you look southeast, you will see a deep valley passing through Huangshan Peak and Xianshan Island; If you look southwest, you will see water and sky merge at the horizon and Laoshan Island shrouded in cloud and mist … Islands of different shapes and tortuous influents and bays compose an amazing mountain and water landscape and people can really get the beautiful image of "traveling in a painting-like landscape where over a thousand islands dot around in the emerald-green water".
