Brief of Qingshan Lake

Qingshan Lake, located in the Lin’an City, Zhejiang Province, is a large manmade lake and the only national water forest in China. It covers an area of 64.5 square kilometers, whilst the water area is 10 square kilometers. Built in 1964, it is reputed as the finest scenery of Lin’an City and one of the new top ten scenic spots.

Surrounded by green mountains, it is endowed with an excellent natural environment that supports more than 240 wild animals and many rare plants in the park. For local people, Qingshan Lake can be described in one sentence: trees are growing in the water, boats are moving in the forest, birds are chirping on the branches, and human beings are wandering in the picture. There is a forest in the water growing in a one-million-square-meter grassland, which is in the north of Qingshan Lake. Because it seems like a piece of emerald set in the clear water and vaguely dreamlike in the ripples, it wins the reputation of the “most beautiful forest in the water in China”.

It is really a nice alternative for tourists. There are lots of comprehensive service facilities such as 27 speedboats, 10 medium sightseeing cruises, and a pleasure boat with delicate paintings, and so on. It also provides grassland for barbecue and real man CS.
