Hangzhou International Expo Center is located in the Qianjiang Century City in Xiaoshan District. The main building has five floors over the ground and two floors underground, covering a total area of 850 thousand square meters. This is a commercial complex assembling conference and exhibition service, hotel, and office building.

The conference area takes up 18 thousand square meters and possesses 61 conference chambers. The big conference hall is equipped with 16 sets of simultaneous interpreting system and is able to meet the requirements of international conferences. The exhibition area covers 90 thousand square meters and is able to accommodate 4,500 international standard international exhibition stands. The multifunctional hall covers 1,300 square meters. In the Expo Center there is also an astylar exhibition hall of 10 thousand square meters. The parking lot provides 4,000 parking places. The G20 Summit was held at the fourth floor of Hangzhou International Expo Center, which is a square with a side length of 45 meters, covering 2,000 square meters. The design of the hall represents the simple philosophy theory of round sky and square earth.

In addition, a four-star hotel is suited in the expo center. The hotel possesses 272 guest rooms, including 10 suites. All the rooms are equipped with modern amenities. From the rooms, the guests can have a great view of the landscape of Qiantang River. Guests also can enjoy fine gourmet in the Chinese restaurant, the western restaurant and the lounge bar. The Chinese restaurant serves Hangzhou local dishes along with Huaiyang food, classic Sichuan food and Cantonese food. In the western restaurant, guests can find the gourmet from all over world. The lounge bar provides delicate snacks and beverage.
