Brief of Daqi Mountain National Forest Park
Located at the south bank of Fuchun River, Daqi Mountain National Forest Park is a comprehensive forest park integrated Jiangnan graceful hills and water with grassland scenery. Daqi Mountain, also named “Saiji Mountain”, used to be the “the most famous mountain in Jiangnan”. Hills, rocks, valleys, streams and falls are famous for grandeur, steepness, oddity, elegance and hollowness. The gentle Daqi Mountain is about 600 meters high. Streams in the forest park usually consist of spring water and rainfall. In rainy period, waterfalls can reach 30 meters high and 6 meters wide. The overall area of the forest park is 40 sq km. By 2013 there are about 130 animal species, including 39 beast species and 91 bird species.
