Hangzhou Catholic Church will be holding a special Christmas mass on 24 and 25 December. This church is the first and largest Catholic Church in Hangzhou and was listed as one of the cultural relics under the protection of Zhejiang Province in 2011. Originally known as Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, it was built in 1659 by an Italian Jesuit Martino Martini. Lavishly decorated, the church boasts a Romanesque style and is one of the most beautiful churches in Hangzhou.
