Inside and out the place was designed and decorated to recreate the iconic coffee shop from the sitcom, Friends. It’s not exact, but it’s close enough to feel like you’re actually there. From the furnishing to the fixtures it feels like you’re an extra on the set. The flat screen on the east wall even runs episodes of the show you can watch from the first and second floors. For the serious Friends fan, they even have private, 3rd floor, rooms decked out to look like the apartments from the show.
The menu options are everything you’d expect from a full-service coffee shop. If you’re not in the mood for coffee, they’ve got teas, juices, soft drinks, and shakes. The food on the menu has cute little names reminiscent to memorable scenes from the show, including Joey’s Pizza (40RMB), and Ross’s Sandwich (36RMB). The place has got plenty of space, and even will host your private party. They have discounts for students and regular specials, so if you’re a big fan of Friends, coffees, and cozy environs, give Central Perk a shot. English menu is available.
